Every six months or so I decide I need to re-read the Harry Potter series. Basically, I am always reading Harry Potter.
I’ve been eating at least half an avocado per day for the last three weeks. Wedesday night, we threw some in a delicious burrito bowl along with blackened tilapia, brown rice, cilantro, pineapple salsa, and a whole bunch of fresh veggies. I’ll post a recipe soon.
I can’t bring myself to throw away the tulips my mom gave me on Easter, because they’re pretty even when they’re dead. Also, every time I look at them I get the Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers” stuck in my head, which is never a bad thing.
Finally no more crappy phone photos!
I already used this photo, but I still kind of can’t believe I ran 10 miles without winding up in the cardio unit of the local hospital.
Congrats on your new camera! I’ve been thinking about getting one, too. A real-deal, giant SLR-looking (but actually digital) camera. DId you find any websites especially helpful with product reviews?
This site was helpful for narrowing down my options – you can choose from hundreds of digital SLR models and it brings up a side-by-side feature comparison: http://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/cameras
I mostly used Amazon for reviews. Hope that helps!
Thank you – that is very helpful!
I get you so well, I looove Harry Potter 🙂
Once I find out somebody likes Harry Potter, I instantly like them 100 times more.
hahaha, so true
Congrats on the 10 miles, yay for you!!! I have been on an avocado kick lately too. I have a half of an avocado mixed with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese pretty much every morning for breakfast. It sounds gross, but is heavenly.
That sounds really good! I’ll have to try it out.
Ten miles seems suicidal. Do you need an intervention? I have also re-read Harry Potter more times than is socially acceptable to admit.
